In fairness to Lin, I believe he still holds the record for most points scored ever for first 5 starts in the NBA.

Good motivation for PBev, he needs to get his stats up this season, right now his PERS is even lower than Raymond Felton. Also his defensive rating isn't that great either. Work hard and have a breakout season! We need him to step up especially we are thin in the PG spot

Fact : Joel Embiid's trolling skill on twitter is about 100 times better than Bev's.

Lowry and Dragic did it, even Aaron brooks too. It takes time though. The little steps, and he's showing them.
He (Pat)is better than D than Lowry, and Lowry was a HORRIBLE shooter at one time.
They both are tough pin balls though, thank goodness we've got to see them in Red.

PER is not a good offensive stat to use to measure PGs who don't shoot much or get to the FT line.

Out of the PGs who scored less that 12ppg last year, only two had PER's above the stat's arbitrary league average score of 15. Bev's dropped from year one, but his 2013 PER was right there at 15.4 in Andre Miller/Rick Rubio range, placing him Top 10 for low scoring PGs.

making 2nd Team ALL-DEFENSE says more about his defense than "defensive rating" does.

Stop measuring Bev vs advanced stats...lols

I don't disagree with you, but still it would be nice to see his contribution or productivity reflected on stats. Nevertheless, this is still a stats driven league.

The same panel who gave James Harden a vote in NBA all defensive team. Yeah they have lots of credibility.

Does anyone really care about the World Cup of basketball?
It's just bush league. It's not even the Olympics...

You have Kawhi over here saying nahhh I'd rather chill than play this garbage basketball.

I would rather have Bev rested up for the season, God knows it's going to be a turbulent one.

How many did Lin get? None. Also Harden can play defense. We've seen it in OKC. He just needs to do it again in red.

Harden is capable of playing good D when he wants to. We all have seen it. The problem is he almost never wants to.

I"m not sure if people here understand the Team Usa select team is not the same team Parsons is on. Parsons at the moment is on the actual team usa team.. The select team, is the team they'll beat up on in practice and on tv.
