    In regards to the non guaranteed players not being trade able for a while, the rockets made that trade for Ron Artest a few weeks before it was finalized cause Donte Greene wasn't trade able yet due to signing his rookie contract. So something could still happen between now and then but it just wouldn't be finalized until that first day it's possible.

    If we were willing to, we could also trade Jones, Motiejunas, Powell and Covington (plus picks) for Dragic. Those salaries work, the contracts are all tradeable today with no restrictions.

    Do the Rockets want to trade both Jones AND Motiejunas? Probably not, still a trade is doable.

    Does the s&t Garcia thing have legs? Is it possible to s&t Garcia or Hamilton to the Suns or a 3rd team to match salaries in a trade for Dragic?

    This thread doesn't BELONG to him. This is the GARM at Clutch City, err I mean Clutchfans and this thread just so happens to be the one where the word has come down from upon high.
