I keep hearing the Rockets linked with Bledsoe but I don't know how we would get him on this team. I don't think we have anything that Phoenix would want. Any ideas? I think it would have to be through a sign and trade. But like I said I have no idea who or what we would trade to them.
I don't know how well of a fit Dragic would be though. His problem was always on defense. Next to Harden the last thing we need is a player who doesn't play defense very well.
I don't know why you'd say Dragic "doesn't play defense very well." He's a plus defender, with his defense improving each of the last 3 seasons. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/dragigo01.html. He's got size (he's 6'4"), is a very, very good shooter (40% from downtown, 50% overall), and while not a Steve Nash (not hardly), he's a good passer with good handles, one that isn't a turnover machine. With Harden, he'd be damn near perfect as the other half of our starting backcourt, in my opinion. The topper? The guy's another lefty. I hated seeing him go last time. If we could get him back I'd be thinking our PG problem is solved. With options like Bev coming off the bench for D&3, Canaan, who's had a good summer league, Smith, if he sticks, and Johnson possibly playing some one? We'd be in good shape there, and that's a bit of an understatement, in my opinion.
If Danny Ainge wanted Chandler Parsons for Rajon Rondo last season i would have of done it in a heartbeat if i knew what was going to transpire with Mark Cuban offer chandler hella money. I like Rondo but he really can't shoot but he can score by going to the paint and throw in some alley-oops because i don't think that Rondo has played with a C like Dwight. This is all in hindsight i know that we can't trade much for Rondo, but i would trade T. Jones and a Nick Johnson and Draft Picks for Rondo TODAY!!!!!!!!!! Pat Bev would benefit the most in this trade he can learn from Rondo and play that tough defense.
I heard Toney Douglas is still available. Imagine a Douglas and Beverley back court. Perimeter would be locked down.
Lol. That would the worst pair of pgs in the league. You don't "lock down" the perimeter in today's NBA. Don't let the flailing arms fool you. Look at the scoreboard instead.
Comparing to Heat is meaningless since their offense starts from Lebron. Let's make it per 36 minutes and TOs.. SPURS Parker 20.4 / 7.0 / 0.6 / 2.7 Green 13.5 / 2.3 / 1.4 /1.7 TOtal 33.9 / 9.3 / 2 / 4.4 ROCKETS Bev 11.8 / 3.1 /1.6 / 1.4 Harden 24.0 / 5.8 / 1.5 / 3.4 Total 35.6 / 8.9 / 3.1 / 4.8
Rondo will not come to rocket.even when he comes,he got no ball to play.because there is harden already.
