What about Gee and Hopson? They were apart of the Asik trade Gee 3.0 Jones 1.6 Motiejunas 1.5 Hopson 1.5 Powell 1.3 Beverley .9 Covington .8 Canaan .8 Thats 11.4, 150% of 11.4 is 17.1 So we would have a full max to offer Bledsoe in that s&t, is this correct or wrong?
Maybe Knight, Delfino + ilyasova to houston for Jones + assets. Knight/Beverley Harden/Daniels Ariza/Delfino Ilyasova/Motiejunas Howard/Dorsey Not bad.
Maybe I'm a fool, but that team could ball. Knight has grown up quite a bit, and still has tons of room at only 22. Ily, when healty, is a great fit next to Howard. Solid rebounder, good shooter, decent defender. (Doesn't follow Morey's 3rd star ideology so we'll just have to see)
Why would we want to gut the ENTIRE bench and two starters to give the max to Bledsoe? We don't need him that badly. #1 he's not worth it, and #2 giving up Bev still leaves us with no real depth at the 1 (none of our baby PGs are ready for prime time).
we can't package contracts with the tpe, and milwaukee have been trying to get rid of sova for slightly more than nothing, no way on earth sova is worth basically a guaranteed lottery pick (the dynamics of it make it so) and jones
I can imagine a scenario where Phoenix trades us Dragic for the Lin TPE, the NO pick and TJones, but not until after Bledsoe is signed. Otherwise they lose more leverage in signing Bledsoe to a reasonable contract. As it doesn't appear a Bledsoe contract signing is imminent, an imminent Phoenix PG trade sounds like a pipe dream.
Be thankful Leslie is not that r****ded. Only a full r****d would allow that move to happen, would make KHAAAAANNNN look good in that one day as several GMs would fleece the Rockets.
Theu already corrected me on that being a impossible trade right now because of gee and hopson not being eligible. But are you seriously saying you wouldn't trade Beverley, Jones, Motiejunas, Canaan plus unguaranteed contracts for Bledsoe? Jones is a nice young player, but he isn't even really starter quality on our team. Beverley is a nice hustle player but isn't anything special, hardly even a starting quality player either. Motiejunas and Canaan are scrub/prospects who can't crack the rotation. Bledsoe is a 24 year old all star caliber point guard who can produce on both sides of the court. You don't get young stars for nothing. That package is nothing special.
What a terrible trade proposal. You don't have to include the Bucks in this trade, you can just trade the NO pick and Jones for Bledsoe.
Ilyasova has 3 years left on a 5 year, 40 million dollar contract btw. Would Morey be interested in a contract that runs that long? I'm sure Ersan Franco could regain form, and turn into a valuable asset next to Howard tho.
Well, i guess people don't know what a question mark is. I wouldn't know the details, but sova is good and we tend to over value our players and under value other teams players. The pelicans pick comes at some risk, if they have a couple injustices which is known to happen, that pick becomes trash. Tjones is not better then sova. The pick gets us a stretch 4
Where we getting this cap space to sign Bledsoe in your scenario? Look through previous pages, we can't get Bledsoe. The guys acquired in the Asik trade can't be traded for 60 days, and we would have to gut the team (only keeping Harden/Ariza/Howard) to create a salary for Bledsoe that would be only a little higher than what Phoenix offered. So clearly Phoenix would just match our offer leaving us with a gutted team.
