Awful condescending for someone who doesnt even know if what you said is actually true. The various twitter feeds that promptly attack anyone who speaks ill of Lin says different. The vast conspiracy to make Lin fans look bad is a myth. The hardcore Lin groupies do in fact exist, wether you want to admit it or not.
The Lakers fans I know, their standard of point guard is magic Johnson . So Lin is nothing but a salary dump when his year is up
My laker buddy made me drink out of Lakers championship glass. True laker fan . Respect to team only fans
What about it? Why would you spend time in his fan site anyway? The fact that they exist in his fan site does not prove that the crazy (or pretending to be crazy) Lin fans in this forum are real too. Remember, these pretenders have been caught in this forum before.
I have a frat brother who makes me use a Mavs or Cowboys shot glass when we visit him in Dallas. No question.
I don't. It has been linked or quoted here quite a few times in the GARM. Are you deliberately trying to be obtuse? They still exist here plenty. I suspect that number will die once he has his typical poor season but many of us have been labeled racists (about as offensive a term as their is) for criticizing Lin and his fans. I'm not saying there aren't people trolling but Lin crazies are just as bad if not worse
True Laker fans know that Lin is just there to sell more jerseys and help the tank while they develop Randle and Clarkson. That and they get a first rounder in the process. I guess we shall see. If Lakers really want to make the playoffs and compete, Nash even in his last legs is a better player than Lin and would get most of the PG minutes
Looking at their roster and how many PGs they have it wouldn't surprise me if they decide to use him exactly how we did. Backup 1 and 2 with more emphasis on scoring than creating. The Lin crazies will have a new coach and organization to blame and hate for "not using him the right way and holding him back"
Lin is by far the best PG on their team, barring a time machine for Steve Nash. In fact, with a team full of young, run-and-gun players, I don't see why they wouldn't utilize a guy like Lin to push the tempo. Counterpoint - Kobe decides he wants to play Kobe-ball chuck mode. Could happen just as likely. Do you think they really see something out of Clarkson? I don't expect anything from second round picks as a rule of thumb. Nash? Who played every third game and is basically set to retire? I think Lakers fans don't expect much from Lin because they know he's not enough to get them out of tank mode, not because he isn't a pretty decent player for their young roster.
True Laker fans know that everyone on the roster except Kobe is expendable, including Randle and Clarkson And Nash has been dead weight for 2 years. He's not playing more than 15 games next season at 20 mins a game max
How many? I admit I cannot read every single post in the forum but I did read a lot of them. I did see a few based on my memory. And they could well be said by the same person (perhaps under different monikers). Don't try to make it out like tens of thousands of people have done that. Using hyperbole to make a point won't carry you too far. Are you deliberately to be obtuse? This is the question that i should be the one who asks you.
The trade from the perspective of a knicks fan, I think. Has a Le Bron clip there which is quite funny. https://medium.com/the-cauldron/a-linconvenient-truth-c9057318ff95 So emotions aside, if you were Morey, and someone offered you Lin, PLUS a first round pick AND a second round pick and you had to give up the rights to 32 y.o. Sergei Lishchuk, would you do it?
Good luck to Jeremy Lin. He seems like a good kid and he obviously tries. I thought he was getting into a rhythm during the regular season until that knee injury when Milsap ran into him. During the playoffs he had some ups and downs but I thought he played rather well, especially defensively. Everyone remembers the turnover (which he was fouled on) when he turned the ball over, and the epic missed layup but what about the number of 4th quarter layups or getting right back up after getting clothes-lined in the neck to hit 2 big free throws? I know the general consensus here is he sucks, I'm glad he is gone, etc. It is what it is. I wish him well.
The only time he ever crawls out is when LOFs need defending. The guy is a prick, had him on ignore a long time ago.
