FYI, JVG was on ESPNews an hour ago with a short on carmera interview. Nothing really earth shattering revealed but wanted to mention it. ESPNews will probably rerun it throughout the day and perhaps on SportsCenter.

What, the show is on or the interview is on? I just turned it on at 4:20. If I missed it, someone give an update!

Which one, 610 or ESPN? If it's 610 I'm taking off early.

Well, did anybody get that? I have friends over and I'm drunk so I forgot to listen.

Any thing interesting or was it the same as the press conference.

You're a pretty rude host or your "friends" are eating all your food and drinking what's left of your beer (probably not much)while you're typing...just a thought.

The interview was on. Sorry, I missed it too:(

It was on at the beginning of the show and lasted about ten minutes.

I caught a little of it. JVG was talkin about the roster and stuff. Saying he needed to get a better feel for his players. Talked real high about James Posey who's "a cutter, slasher, high energy type player". He also said," Moochie gave him fits before. (probably his contract that was the bigget thing for JVG to swallow.) Hmmm. He talked a lil bit about our pf combo but nothing really good about him. He said he wanted to get a better look at Tmo and Boki.

He also is looking into Trading Yao Ming for Kurt Thomas and starting Jason Collier.haha j/k

Good. Rudy just planted him on the 3 point line.

More PT for Boki and TMo would also be nice.

I heard some of the interview. They asked him a lot about his assistant coaching staff, how big and who, basically. Van Gundy kind of side-stepped the "how big" question by saying it was quality that mattered, not quantity. He also said that he did feel like it was a plus to have a guy that had played in the Rockets organization...but that certainly wasn't a requirement. They also asked him about him leaving in the middle of the season in New York, and he essentially replied, "I don't feel I have to defend myself. I thought it was the right decision for the team and for me"

Seemed to have worked given that he had the best numbers of his career.

Probably because he didn't take nearly as many shots in Houston.
