Players like Capela are what the D-league is for. I'm glad that he's going to get a chance play regularly and that we have a team that we have such a close relationship with. If he performs well there, we will see him in Houston soon enough.
He'll benefit from working with our coaches, but hopefully he'll get some special attention for Hakeem. A year in our system with the Vipers and a season working with Hakeem should get him closer to contributing by next season. This season will depend on how quickly he learns and applies that knowledge, and definitely how hard he works.
