Latest Grantland Podcast with Demarcus Cousins as the guest and he named Al Jefferson as the toughest big man to defend.

Named the Marc Gasol and Z-BO combo as the most physical.

    Well worth listening to.

Big Al is doomed to always be underrated--he is a big time talent offensively, and he's excellent on the boards as well. Yeah he's a defensive minus, but his other talents still bring him to star level IMO.

He's basically the James Harden of big men, but he doesn't get the superstar credit the way Harden does.

Also named Rondo as the best PG in the league right now, for what it's worth.

Why do people, including players hate Chris Paul so much? He's definitely the best traditional PG in the league still. He excels at everything you want your point to be good at.

Harden only gets "superstar credit" from delusional clutchfans.

I bet, Jefferson's size and skill has to be a b**** if your guarding him.

I've always been a fan. I'd love to have him here. I always thought he should play PF.

CP3 flopped so hard he hurt his shoulder. One of the most complete PG in the league yet he chooses to flop.

No, mister uneducated basketball fan. Harden gets credit around the league. Other fan bases dislike him because of his flopping, but he's a star.

You got it. He's a star, not a superstar

He was a PF until everyone moved to more uptempo lineups. He's not great at defending centers but if you put him on one of these athletic 4s it's like giving away points. I do think he could make it work with a center that can pass really well though.

Because he is sneaky and does little small things to get under your skin.

It's not even the flopping that makes him so annoying. Just watch the Clippers and watch what happens during a deadball to see why he is so hated.

To be fair, defense is significantly more important if you're a big-man.
