    I would take Chuck Hayes in a second. He will always be one of my favorite Rockets. He would be a better backup at C than anyone else we have right now.

    I wouldn't get too worked up folks, he wont make it out of training camp. If he does, then he has showed something. Even so, I bet that 2nd year isn't guaranteed, only only a portion of the 1st year is.

    Well, at least this shows that Morey understands how disastrous this off season has been and is in full on panic attack desperation mode like the rest of us.

    Another thought - are they signing a bunch of guys to short term non guaranteed deals to use for salary matching in trades so the team they trade him to can cut him and essentially get around salary matching trade provisions of the CBA? That is what they did with guys like like Adrien and Dorsey in the past.

    Dorsey has developed a lot in Europe... I wouldn't be surprised if all you guys end up eating crow and he's a really good backup center for us this season
