Margaret Cho is the ugliest comedian since Sandra Bernhard.

And at least Sandra Bernhard wasn't a total bloater.

I didn't realize they were known for their good looks. Plus, there a ton of horrid beasts uglier than Cho but they're guys so I guess that doesn't count.

 

Well they make a living performing in front of people and they certainly aren't funny. Are you seriously white knighting Cho?

I'll play though, name a comedian with a worse combination of unfunny and ugly. Then, feel free to comment on it when they appear in a thread on clutchfans and I won't argue.

 

It's just an odd thing to comment on out of nowhere. And off the top of my head I would say Carrot Top.
As to whether you think she's funny or not, plenty of people do. Personally I don't think she's great but she's not horrible.

I think the uglier, the funnier. That's no "worse combination" or just bad in general.

Perhaps familiarity has softened her looks but at least she has had some serious success. Cho is a disaster on all fronts.

I don't agree with you on wright because the challenge was lack of talent PLUS lack of looks. You gave two examples of people that are ugly and funny.

Steven Wright is VERY UGLY and VERY FUNNY.
Whoopi is VERY UGLY and SOMEWHAT FUNNY.
Cho is SOMEWHAT UGLY but VERY FUNNY.

 

We won't come close to resolving this if that is your belief. She is a talent-less bloater hag.
