I'm not going to boo a guy who's only sin is accepting a max contract and more shots, and all of us would have done the exact same thing. He definitely should shut up, though. There's no need for him to spout off until he's done more than play above his draft position and rookie salary.

I won't boo him for taking the money, I'll boo him for taking a shot at the Rockets on his way out of town

Yeah... save the booing and cheer on our team. Ego is fed off attention. You'll be giving him exactly what he wants - bitter houston players... then he has won. Go Rockets!

anyone that boos him is insecure as hell. Just think back to all those Laker fans booing Dwight, it just shows how salty people are.

    I was happy for him.
Up until he pissed on the Rockets and piled on Houston with more negative comments.

I won't boo him, but at this point I'm a little cool towards him.

If you want to boo anyone is should be Morey, he could have negotiated a contract with Parsons' agent and gotten him resigned but Morey was chasing established players. I'm glad Parsons got his big payday. I doubt he'll get another one like it unless he continues to improve.

I can see his PPG going up to about 18pts if Rick Charlise makes him a more used offensive weapon but unless he can pick up his defensive ability I don't see Parsons improving farther than what he's at right now. Wish Parsons would've signed for 4 years @ 8 million a year, that would have been a reasonable contract IMO.

How did he chase the money.

Rockets declined to pay him 950K.

    Mavs offered 46+MILLION.

    Rockets refuse to match.

What part of this involves Parsons chasing money. He was forced into this scenario.

    +1

The kid played his butt off and helped recruit Howard. He signed for more money. That's life...get over it.
