It would have been a little better had he waited and demonstrated that next season.......

Parsons' fatal flaw was when he lost his legs from heavy minutes, his jump shot went down with it..... His jumper (for a forward) has too much elevation.... When rested, he's great, but when his legs get tired over the long season, he loses elevation, and the shot trajectory becomes flat. He will need to fix this before he gets to the next level.

Although with a coach that doesn't burn out his starters like McHale, this might become less of an issue with his new team.

With that ego has inflated as it is, he may not work so hard to improve his game.

I'm glad he's got confidence and some moxy but c'mon Parsons....everyone knows u ain't a star and u never will be. Enjoy the max contract because it will be the last max contract u will ever receive.

No lie, they told him just what he wanted to hear. Like the girl ur trying to get to come home with you. Cuban- "Your a star, here's your $$$ and where u been all my life.

Maybe Mark has gay tendencies and just though Parsons was hot.

You know it's funny looking back to the 2011 Rockets Draft press conference..... at the time I thought D-Mo was going to be the over confident douche, never thought it was going to be that seemingly quite humble dude, who got almost no questions during the press conference.

    Disappointed.

Offended? We did him a favor! We could have kept him around for 1mil again next year.

Dirk doesn't have very much longer left as an elite player, and when that happens, Parsons will be exposed as a role player who cannot create his own shots. Their perimeter defense next year (Felton, Ellis, Parsons) might be even worse than ours was this past year (Beverley, Harden, Parsons)....at least one of our guys could play defense.

    LOL.

We didn't let him out because we were doing him a favor, that has to be the most r****ded statement that gets thrown around here. We let him out because we were overconfident about securing him long term and avoiding a spike in his value and losing him for nothing next season as a UFA (irony)

Dirk and Monta are offended that Parsons will be making more money. I wonder how that will affect chemistry. ;)

Should have traded him for Rondo when we had the chance if the rumors were correct. Many here were on board with such a trade.

Honestly really disappointed in Parsons. Clearly he's gotten a pretty big ego. I just don't think he understands. How could he possibly be seriously offended by the fact that we tried to get another great player to play WITH him, rather than just keeping him only. Can't believe he would feel the need to come out and say this.

Now I kinda feel bad for Robin Crowley...Parsons went full blown r****ded...Glad he believes that he is the second coming of Bird...but I bet you he wont be able to beat 36 year old Dirk in a game up till 10...

    you are right Robyn...
