Good value. We still really need to use MLE or BAE to get another forward for depth. And then use vet min. or what's left of our MLE/BAE to add a backup PG and C. I would love to see us use MLE or portion of it (whatever it takes) to get Shawn Marion (he can play and defend both forward positions well). Beverley/vet min./Canaan Harden/Daniels/Johnson Ariza/Marion/Covington Marion/Jones/Capela Howard/DMo/vet min.
I am sure Troy will be a very valuable member for the Rockets. I hope he will have plenty of opportunity to show off his insane skill as a 3 point sniper.
I don't know why people are surprised at the contract. I guess it's the insane off-season this year. For a player with almost no NBA experience, unless that's what you call the D-League, it's a very good contract. If he performs, he sets himself up nicely for a big payday in 2 years from the Rockets. It's a good move for him, and a good move by the Rockets.
I LOOOVVVEEE THIS GUY. So happy to see him make it. Love his attitude and composure. He will be the new fan favorite now that Chandler "im too pretty for this game" Parsons is gone.
With Ariza and Daniels, expect the Rockets' 3pt shooting efficiency to increase significantly which will make our already good offense even better. Oh, and missing less threes means less long rebounds and fast break points so it helps our D.
