He seems to be one of those guys that prefers stardom and a big role in Europe over playing in the NBA. Dount he'll ever play in the NBA, but we'll see. Right now he'd be too expensive and destroy our cap flexibility, he shouldn't be signed until we have a third main guy.
Not only would Lull be expensive to bring over, but hasn't he said that he wants a guaranteed starting spot/minutes?
I think he wants a define role on the team. Guaranteed rotation player. He never mentioned anything about being a guaranteed starter, I don't think.
Jesus, whenever Sergio Lull is mentioned since 2009 on clutchfans, you realize the off seasons has been ****
Yeah, and we all know how the rockets like to use RGV to help acclimate new players. I doubt that Lull wants to ride that carousel.
Yes, but that's also going to be more difficult since Real Madrid just lost Nikola Mirotic to the Bulls. I'd love to have Llull come over, but he's so established and big there that it would be difficult to pry him away. Rockets will (likely) have the MLE to work with but I'm not sure yet if it's going to work this offseason. Before this Parsons disaster, I would have said no, it's not happening. For those that don't know his game... combo guard who can score. Ideal 6th man candidate to replace Lin.
You can't force the guy to come over here. He simply does not want to be here at this time. The cards are set for him to come in and compete for serious playing time but if he doesn't want to come over then there is nothing you can do.
I am sure at least part of him wants to come here. You wouldn't want to play in the MLS and never go to the EPL
With K-Pap on board now we need to focus on Llull Howard-D-Mo Jones-Capela (with D-Mo playing backup 4-5) Ariza-K-Pap Harden-Daniels-Johnson Llull-Bev-Cannon A little too young but we could bring in a couple of vets to compete for spots
I don't know man if Llull comes over, expect extra Ls. (har har) No but really, that guy makes €1.2 million euros net ($3.1 million NBA salary) and is the man for Real Madrid. Also he lives in freaking Madrid, IMO the most amazing city on the planet. If he doesn't come over now with his contract up, I don't think he'll ever leave.
I have lived in the UK and it's not like those are the most "amazing" cities but their soccer league is where the best footballers in the world go just like the best basketball players want to play in the NBA
Great video, thanks Clutch!! I like his game, I think he would fit well with the Rockets. Not sure how realistic it is that he comes over.
He's living it up in his part of the world

“@NaturPictures: Bienvenidos a Menorca. Money talks, maybe if we offer him the MLE and guarantee him the backup PG position, maybe he'll come over.
