    did you know the Charlotte BobCats reveal their logo/unis tomorrow???
    and
    they will have merchandise for sale.
    their team color is orange.
    they dont even play this season!?!?!?!

    yet, we still dont have a name for our arena.
    we still havent unveiled our unis.

    i know the unis are done and just being held for a big event.
    could it be the naming rights are also being held for this event?

    unbelievable a team not even playing this season is revealing their logo before the Rockets.

    Uniforms.........that's all I've really been waiting for. Who cares about coaches, trades, etc. Nice uniforms, now that's something. I think it's been said here before, but a good uniform can really turn a team around, I mean, do you remember what the nets uni's used to look like? Now look where they are.........NBA Finals.

    Word is that the Bobcats will have a predominantly orange color scheme. DOes that sound wierd to anyone else?

    The Bobcats don't have a roster so they can't do jerseys. I guess they can do caps and t-shirts and stuff. I want to get a Mo Taylor Bobcat jersey. Perhaps it'll be a harbinger.

    Remeber the Texans Jerseys?
    They didnt have a roster yet,
    They did "32" & "02" "TEXANS" and "TORO" for the kids.

    on a side note for those who care, the Lebron James shoe will probably match the new Rockets unis...

    I've talked to someone who's seen it and here's what I know so far...

    1. It'll be a FLIGHT series shoe.
    2. It won't be called AIR KING JAMES or whatever.
    3. It'll retail for about $125
    4. It'll be released in JANUARY '04
    5. The 1st colorway will WHITE/RED/BLACK

    I'll post the rest of the details soon!

    Haven't you ever heard the phrase "The clothes make the man?"
    The image of the team is important not only to the fanbase and the other NBA teams, but also to the team itself. I mean, the Rockets know they look stupid in those uniforms and I think it manifests itself subconciously in their play. Man, just look at that game they played in the retros! It was like a different team.
    I personally think (and what fan doesn't have fun superstitions) that with new uniforms there is nothing holding us back from the Finals.

    I agree 100% with Madmax. This will be a huge day for me when the unis come out. I'm heading right to Champs or Academy and buying a hat.
