Yep. The minute Cuban gave Parsons that ludicrous contract, we were screwed. We would be screwed if we matched. We would be screwed if we didn't match.

Morey just got Morey'ed. The only hope I have now is the Cuban will eat his own poison when Parsons becomes a dead weight in his roster.

This is gonna end up like Harden trade, but this time we're Okc. Chandler will actually get better coaching in Dallas and being a member of team USA could really elevate his game.

We were one of the youngest teams in the playoffs last year and made rookie mistakes.

It's a new chapter now, no more young team having fun..handshakes..etc.

We are going to sign older, fierce, defensive vets....we are in it to win now.

What does this off season say to our guys who are left? What does it say to F/A's for next year and their agents?

It says we are on a downward slope. It says Houston is only a pretender...not a real contender.

    Every man for himself now.

I SINCERELY hope I'm wrong...but I think the past week was pivotal for this organization. From THIS close to competing for titles to now....I don't know what.

This feels as bad as any playoff loss I've ever experienced as a fan.

    Good

I think we did the right thing.. How does signing Parsons for one million less than Harden per year make any sense? I think locker room glue guy would become locker room irritant.

He's already talking himself up "best SF in this series" etc. Nick Batum clearly outplayed him. Don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that Parsons kept us in games in the first half of games in the playoffs but 15 million for potential?

Its time for Dwight and Harden to lead and DEFEND. This is where I actually feel that Ariza is an upgrade in perimeter defense. Patrick Beverly has a running mate this year. Hope Terrence Jones develops his jump shot then we have an awesome starting 5. About the bench, well thats definitely a huge concern.

I think we'll get better this year

Well I'm pretty disappointed but ultimately look at it this way. We needed better defense in our lineup and we got it. Mavs needed defense too but they got essentially a one way player for 15 per. If we can work a nice trade or two we can still be better than last year.

He is older than Harden and not as good. No need to pay him more than Harden.

Les is a cheap SOB though. Fair point.

LOL, the championship teams do it all the time. Do you see the Spurs paying role players 15 million dollars?
