I hope Morey wears a bullet proof vest the next time he talks to Dwight Howard. He'll need it. It appears he is great with numbers, but horrible at people skills.

Oh, and have fun telling the team they aren't championship caliber and they can never grow into one. That'll play well in the locker room.

    This is good news.

Parsons contract is terrible. And he's overrated.

This isn't gonna go over well.

But it was probably the best decision for us.

The trade kicker alone would have made it difficult to trade Parsons even if we found a willing partner (Minny).

I'm torn, I really am. Is Chandler being overpaid? Yes. I just feel like we need depth and some continuity with the roster. Hopefully Morey has something in the works that makes the team better.

Make no mistake, as it stands now, we've gotten worse this offseason. Losing CP and Asik and signing only Ariza makes us worse. Hopefully Morey isn't done.

Thank you, take the homer classes off folks. $15 million dollars for a glue guy? Good luck in Dallas buddy, you over played your hand. Batum does not make anything near that and is way better than Parsons. You can't match that ridiculous contract if you are trying to wins title.

I agree. So what the hell are the Mavs trying to do with this $45mil contract?

He's not worth 15 million a year. But at some point, this whole team building crap needs to fly out the window. Dwight Howard did not get recruited by Chandler Parsons last summer to sign here to watch him walk to Dallas a year later. You have two top 20 players. Fill the damn roster with the right role players and go to war. You don't need three stars to win a title.

Morey does not get the concept of team chemistry at all.

so the rockets waste another year of dwight's prime? 2015-16 season is his last season locked into houston and dan fegan never wanted dwight here.

Who is saying Ariza is better than Parsons Remii. I'm thinking most fans doesn't agree with that contract and if the Rockets doesn't match. Well sir Morey doesn't agree either.

You will get some of the same production from Ariza . I just think Ariza will be better defensively.

Exactly. Parsons and Ariza had very similar production last season and only homers want to pay $8 million more this season. Parsons' contract would've killed this team for 3 years.

Trying to screw us but screwed themselves. He was going to leave next year anyway people. At least we have two years to build something here and now know who will be apart of it.

Good, Ariza is more than capable of filling his spot. Let the douche go.

Dwight and Parsons have the same agent. Loyalty always lies with money and Parsons was offered WAY more than anybody expected. He was always going to get paid first.

Relax people. Don't you folks always scream in "Morey we trust"? Trust Morey, he is the same guy that built us from the ground up and now look at us. Best freaking Center and Shooting Guard in the whole entire NBA. We will be just fine. Happy thoughts people happy thoughts.

I don't like the Patriot way....not overpaying to keep guys

Maybe if you overpay a guy he plays better due to the pressure to perform. Is Chandler worth that bet?
