    I'm not so sure about that. Ariza is a step up on the defensive side of the floor. He's the type of stopper you have to have next to a guy like Harden.

    Liked Chandler but he was Ariza for 5 mill more. Makes sense. Would've been a bad, emotional move to match.

    Well, if all of those players (Howard, Bev, etc) really did try to convince Morey to keep Parsons... then not matching is the dumbest decision Morey could have possibly made.

    We'll be lucky to make the playoffs after this, we strongly downgraded the backup 1 and 5 and strongly downgraded the 3 while making a conference rival stronger.

    I hope this means Morey is working a trade with Asik for a 3star player. It'd suck to wait until next year for FA options.

    This isn't gonna go over well.

    But it was probably the best decision for us.

    The trade kicker alone would have made it difficult to trade Parsons even if we found a willing partner (Minny).
