Roe4christ, I like that name by the way. Sorry to double post but I didn't write that last post correctly. Was there ever any doubt that Houston would match Parsons offer? I know Morey hates his contract but what was the story behind the scenes with everything. Share as much as you can without getting yourself in trouble if you don't mind please?
Cuban thought he was screwing the Rockets but the truth is he has just put himself in a bind. He can't sign anyone decent until we match. He is likely going to miss out. The worst thing he did was make Les spend a few more of his millions. Let's say the offer for Parsons would have been at the high side of the rumored numbers $11 mil. So he signed for $4 mil more a year than what they were hoping for. Les reportedly made $44mil last year (with the Rockets). I think Les will be smiling when the play-offs roll around and the Mavs a struggling to make it in the West and the Rockets make him another $44 mil.
I want to believe, but after a quick look at your history I find it really difficult to accept that you work in or are connected to our front office in some capacity, or that they are signing off on these leaks you share. I'll bite. Always planned to match Parson's offer sheet from another team, never expected Gordan's offer that drove the price up. Holding breath that no one would offer, but when Dallas did and added the extras it made us think twice. At this point still planning on matching tomorrow unless something unusual happens between now and then. Never know given how this off season has gone. Now, I really need to go. God bless.
Exactly.....along with all of the vague "info" that he's sharing, I have very little faith in anything that he's writing. I'm not trying to hate with my first post, but roe4christ sort of asked for it. Only been on the job for a year. Lived overseas before that. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time especially when your a rabid Rockets fan like I am. I sure most of you can relate to that.

In regards to Parsons.....I doubt that DM is that wishy washy about matching. "Unless something happens"--this is your out if DM doesn't match. You have no idea. It's time to come clean. Christ would want that.

I believe you, I think you're legit. Nobody should blame you for what that clown Bosh pulled on us yesterday. Nice to know that the organization thinks that McHale is not very good too. Hopefully we can get a real coach in here soon. Seems like a lot of this keeping McHale and Parsons has to do with keeping Dwight happy. In the end he may not be worth the headache IMO.
