So Ariza fills the SF at a cheaper price than Parsons. Now Morey will have to work his magic to work a S&T with Parsons for Rondo and we'll be OK and still have some $ to get some additional role players. I see the future!
Well your crystal ball is not so crystal clear. We can't s&t Parsons. Earliest we can trade him is at the deadline, but he has to approve.
It's against the rules, we can no longer sign and trade Parsons to anyone. Sorry but I wish you had done some fact checking before starting a thread with a post that could have gone into lots of other relevant threads.
Rondo would be amazing right now, but we have no realistic package good enough to get him at this point.
i think if you propose a trade this ridiculous, that isn't even possible due to the CBA, you should be immediately banned.
You know that's actually not a bad idea, we would have to call Boston up to see if they agree. But I like that idea a lot. Ariza being a 40% 3pt shooter and a great floor runner along side with our already run & gun team would help a lot. I'm not sure if rondo is a run & gun type of point guard though. I hope not... But... I know Rondo with a shooter like Ariza would make Dwight Howard a lot more efficient. Rondo also is not looking to score, so Harden and Howard numbers should go up, IF Harden learns to play off the ball. Chemistry wise there might be issues with Rondo and Harden dude to Harden not playing defense. Or if Howard commits dumb offensive fouls. Its a good move. I say they do it if its possible. It doesn't seem like Boston will get Love or any big names to go with Rondo. They will most likley tank this year. But does Boston want Parsons 15 mil a yr contract?
