Just looking at Utahs schedule so far. What a panzy schedule they have had. No wonder the old guys have twenty wins.

They have only played a total of 5 games against LA, Portland, San Antonio and Sacramento. Of those five games they have a total of one win.

I think we are about to see the Jazz fall long and hard. They are in a 5 game slump after their loss in Denver and I predict that slump extending to six against our Rockets.

The Jazz have spent the majority of the season pushing around the teams in the east. Now that they have started playing more teams from the west they are starting to loose.

Just incase anyone is curious I hate the Jazz and their style of ball. They are a team that beleives in the cheapshot. Malone and Stockton are both thugs. Things you can be certain will happen tonight...Malone throwing elbows! I just hope no one on our team gets hurt.

I know Utah is still 20 and 13 but by the end of the season I predict that they will be a lot closer to 500. Goodbye Malone, goodbye Stockton and can't wait till your gone for good!

I hate the Jazz and their annoying dumbass fans (I live in Utah), but the Jazz are capable of beating any team at any time. The Jazz losing their last few games might get them pumped up enough to get a win on Saturday.

The Jazz is the team that wouldn't die. Predicting their demise is premature and naive. They have a lot of talent on that team with Russell, Marshall, Starks, Manning among others. They are stacked with veterans who know how to win and don't panic in the middle of a slump. The Jazz will win 50+ games, and they may well win the Midwest title this year.

Russell is and always has been a roll player, Marshall, has yet to prove anything, Starks was never a star and now he is old and could not even start for Golden State, Manning has two bad knees and is also old, Stockton is 38 and Malone is 37. Over the last few years they have lost a lot of key players to free agency and retirement. A simple reveiw of their year so far reveals thats their schedule has been full of weak eastern conference teams. Of the games they have played against the elite teams they have one one...two if you want to throw in their one win against Philly (I don't consider Philly elite).

There is nothing naive about my prediction and it should not come as a surprise. Stockton and Malone have been cheating their age for years, but how long do you really think that they can keep it up? You might as well get use to it, if by some chance they do win fifty this year (they would have to play much better against the west than they have so far) the team is still going to fall sooner than later. No one can cheat their age or tallent pool forever.

So far your beloved Jazz have 8 wins and 7 losses in the west. Not exactly up to previous years standards. Their losses have come against:
San Antonio, Dallas, San Antonio, Portland, Golden State, LAL and Denver.
Their wins have come against: LAC, LAL, Dallas, Minnesota, LAC, Denver, Golden State and Minnesota.

That is not exactly the toughest western conference schedule to date, but it is going to get tougher. The Rockets schedule has been much tougher. You have to admit that in years past the Jazz would have dominated that schedule with a possible win in Portland and no worse than a split with LAL and San Antonio!

Face it the only two Jazz stars are Stockton and Malone. Both are in their late 30's. As the season goes on it will be harder and harder for their old bodies to respond. Watch how they play tonight, its the secound game of a back to back with last nights game in Denver. In years past no one wanted to play the Jazz after a loss. Now I am predicting their streak will go to six.

BTW, I saw their game last night against the Nuggets. The only way that game even stayed close was because of sorry officiating.

The Jazz time as one of the NBA's elite teams is soon coming to an end!

that whole sequence in the 3rd with all those techs and the flagrant could have killed the nuggets, but we are getting older and wiser (plus mcdyess kicking major ass doesnt hurt [IMG]) - we answered and still managed to put the damn jazz away.

Well I predicted their demise in the summer. They are old and slow. They won't be able to play 82 games at the level they need to play to win. Now that the "candy" part of their schedule is over and they have to play more Western Conference teams, they are a bubble team from here on out, but that is just my naive opinion.

Geez, I'm sorry, I didn't know I would offend people so much! Look you guys aren't naive, I guess I worded it wrong, I just think that Utah will be a factor in the regular season because of their experience and some talent. I'm going on the games I saw them in earlier this year, and I just think that they hit a slump. They're not an elite team, and of course they'll choke, it IS Utah! That's all, sorry that I offended people, I'm new around these parts! [IMG]

Utah is finished. Losing to the trash of the league last night just proves it. [IMG]

Think about that quote for a minute. At the begining of the year they were playing mostly eastern conference teams and their old legs had not yet become tired and sore.

Actually they beat LA up in Los Angeles. But they're the team that wouldn't die. As much as I want them to go away they won't.

I could not beleiv the play where Van Exel got the rebound took off and was grabbed by Ostertag before he got to mid court. No Call. He continued on and was mauled as he went up for the fast break shot. Once again no call. Malone gets the ball and starts a fast break Van Excel chases him is and as Malone goes up for the shot little ole Nick goes up with him. Body contact is made, Malone misses the shot and Nick is called for a flagrent! He goes ballistic and then gets called for a tech. Malone gets three free throw and the Jazz get the ball out of bounds. Shortley after that Issel gets called for his secound tech and is tossed and the Jazz get another free throw.

I can't tell you how many times I saw McDyess go for a shot and have some Jazz knock him down and land on him with no call. I hate the Jazz!

First of all crash they are not my "beloved" Jazz and saying that a Rocket fan is a Jazz fan is a slap in the face pal! As for counting out the Jazz, people do it every year, I do the same thing. This team won't die, they never will. Malone will be 70, Stockton 72 and the Jazz will STILL win 50+ games and still win Midwest titles, and still flame out in the postseason, it's their legacy. They're not human! They're the vampires of basketball, ageless, dangerous, and suck the life out of the NBA (cheating and winning)! It'll be sweet seeing them get knocked out of the playoffs again though! [IMG]
