Yeah he's really impressed me with his passing ability during the summer league, he makes some really good passes, he's got nice court vision and awareness for somebody that's considered a combo guard.

so how good is he really? I haven't been watching summer league (I never do), and I'm just wondering people's thoughts on how he looks and how he compares to past players in summer league.

(Basically my point is to find out if we got a gamer. I'm guessing it's way too early to tell, but I'm curious. He's had some highlight reel moments but that definitely doesn't mean it will translate. )

He's pretty good at everything...obviously you have to take into consideration that this is basically a try out for him still, so he's going to be focused and on top of his game, but he still shows things that should translate over to the season. He's not as fluid offensively like Francis or Lillard, more like Courtney Lee, but he still has the ability to put up 15/5/5. Has a better build than those 3 guys, so that'll help. People say his shot needs work, perhaps it needs consistency, but i think the form is fine. Sometimes those super athletic guys just have very balanced mechanics, so trying to favor a side, like with a shot, doesn't always look textbook.

I like that he has good court awareness and looks fairly decisive when he plays. So yeah, he's a keeper, wouldn't be surprised if he was on the roster most of the season, especially because we need a back up 2 who defends. It would be great to have him on the bench in late game situations to get a stop.

    size, 1.5-er for position, and age (wasn't a one-n-done, I don't think).

I've been stoked about this pick, part Dumars, part Cassell. And with our otherwise crappy off-season, I'm hoping he gets some run right out of the gate.

Maybe the pack that Milk Hair played with Dennis Johnson will make a difference for him?

i'm a huge fan. should be the starter already. the numbers are clear for me and it's not even training camp. he's the only positive thing to come out of this off season. And if we lose parsons, he takes over as the most ridiculouslii good looking rocket. no homo.

Shot 56% from 2 but only 27% from 3. I think he will need some time with the Vipers working on the 3 ball. averaged 3 TO.

I think he beats out Cannan and at some point is the backup PG.

    Over who? Bev?

I'm thinking this too...although he'll play some 2 as well, he should be able to play point in limited minutes.

This guy will be in the rotation from day 1.
His toughness and D will get him on the floor.
    He is a 2way player.
What a tremendous pick by DMOREY.

    Now now grasshopper.
Calm down. He will be a better backup than Lin.
Plus he can guard the 1-2 which means he can play with Bev at times.

That right there is the key. He really is a true two way player. He has the skills and is wired to just play the play on either end. Might already be the most balanced player on the team.

He's much more level headed, but with a similar aggressiveness, which is perfect.

Match Parsons and we have great depth....everywhere.

PF aint strong but TJones and Motie with more experience under their belts, should improve next year.

Bosh woulda been better obviously, but eff it....make lemonade outta lemons and try for Love later this year, if we can.

This Johnson kid is the real deal tho.

Another in the long line of Morey late picks that end up being WAY better than where they were takin.

Not at all worried about the upcoming season.

    Not nearly as explosive laterally.

Stiff hips are what will haunt him, as they haunt Harrison Barnes and soon to be Andrew Wiggins.
