Bosh's defense alone is worth 10 times more than Parsons.

Parsons doesn't take over games. Bosh can at any given night. Next year with no James and Wade, Bosh is going to average 24 and 8.

In the other hand, if we don't match, we will have to see how Parsons does when he is a defensive focus.

LOL Rockets were going to offer Bosh 4 years/88 million, they dont even know if they want to match 3 years/46 mill for Parsons. Nuff said.

Prime example of how stats don't equal the whole story. Parsons at best is still a role player. Bosh is an all-star pf. Comparing him to Gasol is dumb Gasol is declining

Because people here don't know basketball.

Miami used Bosh to blitz the wing and run back and contest shots at the rim 2 secs later every other possession and OP thinks him and Parson's D are equal.

First off....Gasol averaged more points rebounds and blocks than Bosh. Bosh has also had a dip in scoring for 4 straight seasons. Bosh is declining, if he isn't please enlighten me.
I will take a 25 year old Parsons over a guy who has declined over the past few years, especially for 5-7 million less. Bosh would help the team but he is not this stud that you consider him to be. Personally Bosh makes me sick, he has turned us down 2 times already don't hype a guy who is on the decline and never even cared about the Rockets and make it like Parsons is crap. Do you not remember how hard it was to get a good sf before Parsons came?

What does him not wanting to play for the rockets have to do with it? I guess LeBron isn't the best player in the world either since he didn't want to play for us. You want to talk about regressing, parsons IS ONLY 25 and his defense ALREADY REGRESSED. Comparing number is idiotic. Bosh was THE PERFECT FIT for this team. Parsons is another 3 pt shooter that doesn't play d. Would I love to keep parsons? Sure but don't compare him to bosh and use age, stats, etc. as the reason why he's a better obtion

Parsons back spasms concerns me a bit. And also Bosh's D is much better than Parsons.

110 Million is better than 45 million, LOL that's why. Plus he is a two time Champion who at one point was a 20/10.

No he won't avg 24/8 in the Heat, but he would avg 15/6 in the west along with Harden and Howard under McHale without a chance of making it to an allstar game. Also you seem to be saying Lebron makes teamates worse.

I think Bosh would have averaged around 18-10 because of the open shot attempts he would have gotten if he came here. The pick and roll with Harden would have been a thing of beauty. But oh well he is a Heat so Bleep him.

I never said him not wanting to go here makes him a worse player, read what I said before typing.
You can't compare Parsons drop in defense last year to Bosh points dropping 4 straight seasons. Parsons had a bigger workload than before as evidence in him traveling the most miles in NBA. So according to your thinking Harden regressed on D so apparently he is on the decline too right? Only 4 players averaged 16 points 5 rebounds, 4 assists a game while shooting 45% and Parsons was one of them. Don't tell me how Bosh is a better fit and tell me I can't use age and stats to back it up. I am sorry but stats are the only way to back it up imo.
