can't you have to match Parsons before PHO decides on Bledsoe. But once you match parsons you won't have the money to give Bledsoe the max. Cuban really tied Morey's hands behind back with the timing of this and getting it done early.
Bledsoe is definitely worth a max deal. When he's healthy he's a top 10 pg. He does everything and is so young.

No thanks. Why give a Max? Nobody out there outside of Love is worth it including Parsons. We could let Parsons go. I like Lance Stephenson, or Deng. Both more affordable. We need scoring and perimeter defense. Also need a solid PF. I am interested in seeing how this shakes out. Can't see a great way forward.
He will make Harden better thus he is worth the max. Bev is a role player and his contract is up at seasons end RFA. Perimeter defense is what Bledsoe is all about PLUS MORE. Jones has made some strides last season - a solid 4/5 back-up fits better than just a PF, IMO. I like Deng as an option, too. - on a GOOD contract.
We've been going that route all offseason, and have gone for 0% on stars. Lets focus on getting parsons back and get some role players to salvage the season.
Morey should be talking to the Suns. They just signed a point guard and they already have Dragic and Bledsoe. One of those two should be a potential target. I prefer Bledsoe based on potential.
The only way to get Bledsoe is to work out a sign and trade with Phoenix. DMo, Pelican's first round pick, & PBev for Bledsoe may be enough. Then, TJones for Ryan Anderson and match Parsons or sign a cheaper replacement using the MLE. C-Howard PF-Anderson SF-Parsons SG-Harden PG-Bledsoe
Forget "worth". We aren't the ones picking his salary for him. He's worth whatever his market value is at the moment. His market value is the max contract. He will get it and should (and won't) settle for any less.
