What a load of crap! This would have happened regardless. Players look out for themselves as they should. And they typically go to the highest bidder.
Oh yeah BTW. Lin played starter minutes and was paid (overpaid) The past two years. He had a shot at being the starter here and future PG but he did't deserve it. Move on.
... "and we especially appreciate you letting us wring out the extra $$$ from the team we were playing for in any event."
BOSHHHHHH!!!! Grr... TBH it probably wasn't too hard a sell for Miami. 20 million more and they could sell the "redemption / you are our only max guy" aspect vs. going to be a 3rd wheel again.

"Morey was very professional. He bought all of the bull**** we were selling. And we didn't even have to ask him to bend over, he did it willingly. That made Chris feel very comfortable. Very professional."
No one left really to put this team over the top. Just suck it up try your best next year and wait till 2015.
There's been no evidence that Bosh reneged on a verbal agreement with the Rockets. The only "proof" is the word of a member of a basketball forum who is not verified or credited as an insider, that he HEARD from a Rockets employee. Lets save the outrage and pitches and forks until Woj, the Rockets or someone else release some credible information.
