If he matches Parsons, we now have depth issues to address at tough spots to fill and no contacts to use for the 3rd star (Parsons still not a star in my mind just paid like one).
When Cuban struck out on Howard and settled for Ellis and Calderon, that was a back up plan, and we all laughed at him on this forum. Morey might have a back up plan too, but that doesn't make striking out on Bosh (along with declining Parsons) any less of a high-profile L for Morey so far this offseason.
Why do people make threads like this? What is the point of rubbing salt in the wounds of other fans here who have barely had time to get passed the stunning news? It seems like idiots like the OP revel is stirring up a sh_tstorm just to add to the misery. Why don't they just keep their mouths shut for a day or so...or better yet post in one of the myriad of other Morey bashing threads. Jesus H.
No dude. It's literally just you and maybe two other people in every single thread repeating the same thing. I get that you're emotional about this and your posts on the topic never have an inkling of analytical insight. But most people on this forum realize we have one of the better GM's in all of sports.
Guys it's easy, we just fire Morey and hire a GM who will never do anything wrong. Thank me later Leslie.
Owned how? Miami had what Houston did not....an extra year. Simple as that. That's not Morey's fault... I'm sure playing with Howard and Harden at least gave Bosh pause to think, but at the end of the day, money talks...especially when its guaranteed money + an extra year.
Best post of the day. Man this board has some absolute idiots spewing ignorance out their blowholes. If you don't think Morey is has done a good job you shouldn't even waste your time following BB.
Since you've read my reasoning so many times, I guess I don't have to explain everything again. Its not my responsibility to highlight my points every time in countless posts when people choose to remain ignorant regardless. Never mind that my "insight" has been spot on starting from last season about Mchale not being able to get us out of the 1st round to this 3rd star nonsense. If Blind faith is your thing, thats cool, but some of us care more about this team than the GM being cool for flipping assets and whatnot.
I wouldn't resign Parsons. I like him, but not $15 mil worth of like. Why does everyone think you need 3 superstars in their prime? Spurs didn't have that this year did they. We've got 2 superstars in their prime and we had a pretty good group of young players. We could have kept Parsons. How much better would we have been with Bosh? How much worse are we without Parsons, Asik and Lin and a future 1? Maybe Moron can cobble something together, but, this is a self inflicted disaster.
