    He is a one year rental to clear cap room. The bonus for Lakers is the draft pick.

    Lakers dont care about Lin the player.

    As a Lin fan, why would you be happy about that???

    The hint to you guys should have been this:

    We are receiving draft picks for trading Asik away but we are sending draft picks over to trade Lin away. One is a positive value, the other a negative value. Also, The Pelicans will almost certainly resign Asik when that contract expires next year. Lakers will most likely be happy to let Lin walk away.

    Think about the price Cleveland paid to unload Jack. And we're only giving one 2015 first rounder?? Plus it's OUR OWN first rounder, and now the Pels first rounder???

    I'd say Lin fans dont' care what Zboy has to say either.

    Lin fans (including myself) will be happy about following the most popular back court in China and Taiwan. Will Kobe still ask who Lin is? Kobe will probably be getting questions about Lin and he's like "I don't know who that is". Lin will be right next to him screaming, I AM RIGHT HERE!

    It's high comedy.
