Irving isn't a max player right, borderline allstar...Parsons level. Same crappy defense too. Love is great, but dude hasn't shown he can carry a team to the playoffs. Crappy defense. Varejao isn't a star. Even if Irving grows to his potential it will take the Cavs 2-3 years before they can start contending for a championship. And by that I don't mean winning the east, because the east is garbage. Do I love this story yes? Its great for cleveland fans. But like James, in his letter, he keeps its real. I'll be very surprised if Cleveland wins a championship.

With Lebron making the decision to come home, reading the article and knowing his motives, does it not make you have more respect for the guy?

Hard to keep hating the guy. At least he admits he was wrong. Life has humbled him...glad to see he has grown up a bit...hard to root against him now...lol!...I just hope Bosh don't take forever to make up his mind now....But I definitely don't want Parsons at 15M/yr...cant do it.
did you see what kind of team lebron carried to the finals? irving/love are wayy better than the teams he carried years ago. on top of that the east IS TERRIBLE. if they land love and have bron, kyrie and love...they're favorites for east champs imo.
Is this not literally the most perfect song for the whole situation? Some of those lyrics in the song are just spot on.

Happy as a man for Lebron. Family is where the heart is at. I can deal with that. But come November....
That's one of the most powerful things I've ever read from an athlete. Amazing stuff, and a great way to announce his return back to Ohio. Good for LeBron, good for Cavs fans, and good for the NBA.
