Jason McLaed @InsiderJayNBA 9m Bosh received word late last night, HOU already placed contract on Bosh's hands ready to go once cap is cleared. Will match parsons too
If Morey signs Bosh and matches Parsons, Dallas fans need to be trolled hard with photoshops of the Cuban/Parsons pic in the nightclub.
there's nothing preventing them from having a contract drafted and ready for signature... happens all the time. there are specific provisions in the contract that would make it contingent to certain items (cap space, league approval). common practice in the business world.

[rQUOTEr]The Rockets have made a max-contract offer to Chris Bosh, and now are waiting to see if he will accept. If Bosh says yes, the Rockets need to make the following moves to make sure he will fit under the salary cap: – Complete the trade of Omer Asik to New Orleans. – Find a trade partner for Jeremy Lin. – Waive their non-guaranteed players with the exception of Pat Beverley. – And move at at least two contracts – likely Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones. – And then decide on matching Chandler Parsons’ offer sheet from Dallas. That move doesn’t affect the cap (because the team is re-signing one of its own free agents) but impacts depth and the luxury tax. http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2014/07/how-the-rockets-can-make-cap-space-for-chris-bosh/[/rQUOTEr]
