    Good stuff, Clutch.

BTW, I haven't read through all these threads, but has anyone photoshopped Scott Hall and Kevin Nash into that picture yet?

This is a very good article which makes an important point. Parsons has been a "second round" steal, a great bargain, a lot of bang for the buck, etc. Now he becomes a max salary player with huge expectations. His playoff performance against Batum is not the stuff of 15 million. More like fifteen cents.

He is not a max player, no way and no how. Good for him that he got that offer. It simply doesn't make sense to match it.

Regarding Hayward, I'd argue that Dante Exum will be the ball-dominating star, relatively quickly

1 million < 15 million simple math. Morey failed all of us. We got downright owned by Parson and his agent. Morey should've known this worst case scenario could have happened. He should have been more prepared for it. There's no taking chances with greedy (no loyalty) players in the NBA. This move will be one of the biggest blunders in Rockets history much more significant than Boozer because we had the ability to keep Parsons for one more year.

In the end, we will end up losing Asik/Parsons and not land any of the big 3. Be prepared to watch Lin's pathetic play once again next year while Morey gets us excited for Free Agency 2015. By then, DH12 will opt out and join another team since there will be no 3rd star or significant upgrades since he arrived.

he's not worth 15 mil, but the free pass portion is exaggerated. The dude would get knocked for his defense on here constantly, while playing the most minutes and traveling the most distance on an NBA court last season.

He needs to expand on his ability to create his shot to be a true max guy. Pull up 3 is hero ball. I like his 3 pt shooting where it is, just hit it. Didn't he have like 10 3's one night last year? He's been doing this thing where he uses his length, IQ, & patience to get this slow easy open floater. It's weird, but it works. He knows how to go to the hoop and finish, he just needs to work on all his first step tricks.

Needs to also go back to that rookie year where we were applauding his Battier-esque "Mr Fundementals" similar numbers of extremely low % of missed defensive assignments. (One of those weird sabermetric things that Morey's people track.) He's not going to block it into the 8th row, then rip his shirt off and run it through his crotch, but he does all these little yet still very important things correctly that only people that get paid for winning (NBA coaches) notice.

Morey should have known Parsons will switch. Guess he forget about the last play in the Portland series, where they were not suppose to switch either.

the clock to match starts in 2 hrs....... i hope morey and his crew are working around the clock and stayin in touch with Boshs people. Too bad the future of the rockets lies in the decision of one of the biggest drama kings in the history of the NBA. LBJ. This has the potential to turn out very very bad.

I'm glad ur butthurt about this, Parsons treated Houston like they treated Lin his friend. He screwed you guys real good. I absolutely LOVE Cubans I fudged you look! That's gonna be my wallpaper and also make some t-shirts with that pic. Also Chandler is not gonna be your concern anymore d-bag. Free pass my arse. It is also not up to any polls on whether Parsons is a rocket, he chose the Mavericks and he showed that by deleting the Rockets from his Twitter and signing as soon as he was allowed to which really screwed Houston. Also Dallas doesn't share the same rivalry with Houston. That's all in ur pathetic minds. Parsons had a great relationship with McHale and Houston so why the disrespect? I can only guess because of lins treatment so in a sense Lin screwed you one last time by association. How you like them apples!
