    AGREE HERPADERPDERP

Meanwhile back in reality - he voluntarily turned down $42.6 million dollars worht of guaranteed money in part to help LeBron stay on the Heat - of course he isn't going to make the decision on his own without figuring out waht LeBron is going to do.

Why the hell is Bosh vacationing during the apex of the FA signing period? I just don't understand these guys at times.

Exactly. Pretty indefensible. If Parsons isn't a Rocket next year he deserves to be showered with boos

Clock doesn't start until THE ROCKETS receive the offer sheet. So we can stretch that out a bit. Just like NY did with the Lin sheet.

I still think it's a dick move by Chandler, but I would imagine Cuban made the offer contingent on him signing at 12:01 AM knowing exactly how it screws the Rockets.

considering that they were negotiating the entire day yesterday as per reports...and were unable to get something agreed upon, Chandler Parsons agreed on a number that he believed is most fair...a max contract...

The Rockets could stun everyone by letting him walk, resign Bosh, use the MLE to sign a player like Marion, Pierce or Ariza(least likely)

It's 45 million dollars. Things change with that kind of money. Bon voyage.

I thought the same thing. I remember the Knicks FO ducking the Lin offer sheet for a while that summer. Can anyone confirm this is the case, that the 72 hours begin as soon as the Rockets FO receive the contract, rather than when Parsons signed it?

If I am Morey, I tell them that i will be at my office promptly at 9AM the next day to receive the offer.

Not going out of my way to receive it. That way the clock starts at a reasonable time and it doesnt look like you're dodging.
