    tick, tock, tick, tock...

The suspense is killing me. I'd be surprised if he chose the Wiz over us. I could see him sitting out another year though.

It depends I guess on how much money is being offered. A lot of news outlets have speculated that if Van Gundy wanted to win now and make a run at a championship he would sign with the Rockets but he might take the Washington job because he is an East Coast guy. In the end money is probably going to talk and he'll want to "keep his family on the East Coast" and take the Wizards job.

The fact that Van Gundy could be the guy who is responsible for fixing the Rockets into a champion caliber team should be reason enough to choose the Rockets.

Down the line, don't you think it would be worth it for everyone in the world to think that you’re the reason that Yao becomes a super star; that because of your brilliance with big men, Yao becomes the super star he should be?

Van Gundy will accept Wizard's offer and Dunleavy, by default, will be the next coach of the Rockets. Pretty exciting stuff! Let's see, the Rockets get outflanked (outsmarted) and outbid by two Eastern teams. Hmmmm. I wonder what that means?

This board is going to go crazy in either situation. I'd rather him pick TNT then the Wiz. Picking the Wiz over us is flat out insulting.

This just in Matt Bullard named new rocket coach! The Kiss of Death 3 Point Offence will be in effect.

Will Bullard let Yao shoot 3s or will he simply function to grab rebs and kick it out to EG, Mobes, and Stevie?

How smart could VAN GUNDY be if he takes a lottery team over a team that is on the verge of the playoffs, and potentially a title contender in a year or two?

You know, that's an interesting point - does anyone know if Air Bull has ever professed an interest in coaching? For a guy who managed to stay in the league for years based on his basketball brains and not necessarily his superhuman athleticism, perhaps he might have the proper makeup to someday become a coach?

Personally, I think it would be kinda cool to one day have Coach Bull prowling the sidelines, humorously insulting Commissioner Barkley every chance he got.. ;)
