Actually, I think all of it can be done in a day. Bosh knows what he wants to do. FWIW, doesn't reaching out to Deng signify an intent to match Parsons? It indicates that Morey isn't going to wait on Bosh and that he will get a third "star" before his window to match Parson expires. Help me out here Bima! :)

He isn't worth that money, I wouldn't sign him let the Mavs be stuck with that atrocious contract.

As far as we know, there was no reason for him not to wait other than to stick it to the Rockets.

    Wrong.

If Morey had any intention of not matching any offer, and risk him leaving, he would have not made him restricted.

Parsons ****ed us plain and simple. This is most likely going to cost us either Parsons or Bosh.

So Morey has to wait for Lebron to decide, hope he picks Cleveland, trade Lin, S&T for Bosh, and decide whether to match the offer in the next 3 days. That's sounds like a ton of fun. Oh, and if Lebron goes back to Miami Morey has whatever time left over from when Lebron makes his decision to acquire a new max type FA or trade for one.

Not only is Lebron holding up FA but if he goes back to Miami the Rockets are more than likely adding Parsons as our max player. This team just went all in on freaking Cleveland! Cleveland...

That might be the single most motivating factor in keeping him for this ridiculous price. That you can trade him, but then again he has the trade kicker and the player option after year two, so the trading team will not have long term security on him. The Rockets are in a very, very tough place. Sucks man, I was hoping Parsons was going to do us a soild and atleast wait on it, but he didnt, and you cannot blame him. For $15 million, I say let him walk, if we dont get another BIG COMMITMENT. Do not want to tie up that much money in a player that is a above average player at best. Sorry.

Well if no Bosh Morey can still make some depth signings like Ariza or Deng and still go over the cap to match Parsons. Best plan is to use up the cap space one way or the other and then match Parsons.

Chandler is dead to me if he signs it before we get sign anyone. The moment he signs, there goes out cap room.
