If and when we get Van Gundy, which current and former Knicks do you think would be a good fit for the Rockets.

I think Mark Jackson would be the perfect complement to Steve Francis. He's a veteran ,pass first point guard. I think his experience could help Steve alot. He only makes the league min. and I believe he's a free agent.

i like Mark Jackson, but he hasn't been a knick for a while, he was on Utah.

Everyone else we are better off without with the exception perhaps to kurt thomas

I'd rather have Marcus Camby over Kurt Thomas, he's a better shot blocker and rebounder. If we could swing a Mo for Camby trade and sign Mark Jackson we would be in good shape for next year.

Laugh if you want, but I will take Allan Houston. Yes he is way over paid. However he would fit the Rockets perfectly. The Rockets desperately spot up sharp shooters to help spread the floor. Ming scores inside and Francis tends to penetrate, clogging the middle. Houston would get lots of open looks on the kick outs.

Right, because magically, former players of coaches always follow them to whatever team they go to.

Knicks would probably do it just to get out his contract and they are always looking for big man, even those of Mo's caliber, they are still playing big O arent' they?;)

I'd probably do it too just to get a veteran player that actually plays (i.e. not Rice).

I would do that trade for Houston. His contract is huge, but Yao, Francis, and Houston would be huge too.
