If the Rockets had Dragic instead of Lin would these conversations still be taking place? If Melo wanted to come to the Rockets would Parsons be automatically dealt?

Good lord. Your paranoia knows no bounds, does it. If you seriously believe that, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible, with all respect due.

If the Rockets had Dragic instead of Lin we would already have 4 All-star caliber players and attaining a Melo wouldn't be necessary back up center and someone like Luol Deng would have been our first targets.

Yes, and I should probably have ignored the guy, but some of these nonsensical statements are hard to ignore. Sheer lunacy!

This offseason has made me seriously consider a job as a fake NBA Insider. I could totally do this crap. I would just lurk on teams' fan sites and see what people are talking about, then create a rumor about it on Twitter. People would share it and talk about it, because for all they know I am a real insider.

Maybe I can just "fake it 'til I make it" and eventually turn it in to a real career!

Maybe 4 All Star caliber players but not a "star" like Morey has been saying. Is Parsons an all star caliber player? I voted for the guy as an all star but that's more my own homer bias talking. I don't think a lot of people outside Houston would consider him all star caliber. Dragic might not even have the success he has now playing with Harden and within McHale's iso Harden in the last two minutes offense. Morey kept his options flexible for a free agency just like this one. It's a gamble but he did what was best for the team at the time.

Their '12-'13 stat lines are pretty much identical, so i'm guessing Gogi would be coming off the bench too, if he stayed in Houston ;)

80% of his comment was absurd. But the first sentence regarding Lin's signing to be Les Alexander's decision (for $$$$$ marketing reasons, not basketball) has been the tagline of many "Rockets" fans, not LOFs.

We have to be giving up something very nice in order to give the 76'ers the power to say no at the last second. My thought is T. Jones is going with Lin. If it was less the deal would be DONE.

Yeah, let's ignore 2013-2014 for no reason. You're not even trying to be smart. This is what makes people believe there is a thing called LOF.

Yea it's not like Jeremy completed stagnated the whole whole season even when he had multiple chances to shine with Beverly out and Dragic made third team all NBA when he also had to begin the season playing behind Bledsoe. Let's just ignore that.

The good ones are just like psychics, they avoid specifics like dates.

The "professional streetwear model" blew his credibility in one offseason by putting a date to it. The key is be somewhat specific while still leaving lots of room for maneuvering so you can wobble around with the "things change, things are fluid" excuse if it backfires.

If you end up being close to accurate people will stretch it for you to make it fit.

They made the decision to bench Lin after the series with OKC ended, i think they even presented Bev as a part of the starting 5 in that app they made for Dwight
