Not sure about this. Bosh was supposed to take a pay cut if the Heat were going the cap room route. They are using their exceptions, so Bosh no longer needs to take a pay cut.
Y'all are acting like dude is wrong for wanting to play with bron. Lebron is a great teammate and he won 2 championships with him. Nothing wrong with loyalty
He wouldn't take a pay cut anymore. The Heat can re-sign players to the max once they're in the luxury tax... at least that's what it sounded like.
I think Bosh is worth the max. He may not be a max player, but he could fill gaps. He brings Championship experiance, comes from a team where defense is valued. Not to mention his skill set fit with the team.
Not now. With the Heat committing to McRoberts, it's pretty clear their "plan" has failed, and their last-ditch effort is to pay all of the Big 3 at the max and then sign McRoberts/Granger as an over-the-cap team. Bosh won't be taking a paycut to stay in Miami, it doesn't appear. The question is why LeBron would believe Josh McRoberts is enough to significantly alter the future of the franchise.
A guy is mentally unstable for wanting to stay with the best player on Earth, that just led him to four Finals in a row? In an easier conference? No, we are just homers for thinking we are a better option if LeBron stays. Now all bets off if he leaves. Lets not be fanatics people.
Can someone give me a quick update pls on the last 24 hrs, I'm Overseas with limited wifi (Rep shall be given)
Were you under the impression that Bosh was going to ditch a Miami team with LeBron James for the Rockets?
I get that he got 2 titles in miami because of lebron n wade.Kind of strange that sources saying he wants 4 years max and when a team like us are very interested. We talk to him and now him saying he wants to stay with lebron n wants to stay in miami. Then y are we talking to you? To change your opinion of lebron?? So i guess we are in the waiting game to see if bosh's bff makes up his mind to stay or go while we loose out on other free agents.
While I'm excited about the Bosh possibility (I think Bosh is the best fit) and I can see why he'd pick Houston if he was to leave, I don't understand why everyone assumes he'd leave even if James left to go to Cleveland. Couldn't Miami just pay him the max, keep Wade (represented by the same agent as Bosh), and bring in a player like Deng for $11 million. The team wouldn't be as good as the Rockets but his agent wouldn't be screwing over his other client if Bosh stayed and by all accounts Bosh really likes living in Miami. I can see him joining the Rockets (and am really hoping for that outcome), but it doesn't seem automatic to me that he would jump ship for the superior Rockets squad - even if Lebron goes to CLE.
