If he continues to produce and we have him for, say, the next 3 years with Howard, Harden, and Parsons, it's a great move by team. And playing the odds so far with him, I'd say it's worth the risk, especially with his fit with the current team.
Correct I was actually in Dallas that weekend found a bar playing it, we haven't beat clippers with harden since he's been a rocket.
But if you get Bosh, that's it. Rockets will be unable to make any more BIG moves for the next 3 years. Does this make you better then the other powerhouses in the West?
Seriously. You and I don't agree much, but on this one we are in total agreement. How many years of Harden/Howard do people want to throw away waiting on the 3rd piece. It only gets harder to add talent due to the cap and your players only get older with time. This is the year. You need to have the foundation set this year and be in title contention over the next 2-3 years.
I think it does. You now have 4 top NBA players. McHale's contract ends after this coming season and then you can hire a better coach if it doesn't.
Add a good perimeter defender and only challenge is OKC. We've been saying it forever, but Spurs are bound to eventually regress

They seem to think we can still sign Love next season because they assume we will have cap space. WE WON'T. Not with Parsons soon to be deal on the books. It's now or wait till Howard leaves in 2016
Meh, Bosh should be in no hurry. The Rockets offer will be there up until they have to match Parsons's contract or they've gotten word that Melo is coming. Either way, until Lebron falls, this circus will be on-going.
Interesting, if true. Interesting that the quote said "3+ year contract." That implies an option in the 3rd year, at least to me. Player or team? edit: It's a fake account? Damn social media! (except ClutchFans, of course!)
It absolutely makes us better and able to contend with any of the other powerhouses. Why are you looking at this as making us NOT a powerhouse? We were one of the best teams last year, and if we hadn't caved against Portland (series in which Lillard had multiple "games of his career"), we had a decent shot at SA. We were 4-0 against them this year and have had their number the last couple of years. It's all about matchups. We would not have gotten past OKC, but with the addition of Bosh (to pull Ibaka outside and to play some defense), we are serious contenders. On top of that, if we can do it via sign and trade, we don't have to gut the team, either. This is the ideal scenario.
