He's not worth the max at all, but it's 1) not my money 2) a great move to lock together a core of Harden, Parsons, Bosh, and Howard I'm not going to call Bosh a 3rd "star" at this point, but he and Parsons together would be a force for any team to deal with if they are doubling Harden or Howard. If you can't get Love, this is the next best thing.
It bothers me to "over pay" Bosh, but the point is taken. He may end up being the big "get" of this off-season. That, and resigning Parsons. We'll see! I'd much rather have an extended Love, even if it costs us Chandler, but if that doesn't happen, we could do a lot worse than Bosh.
That's where I'm at. I don't LOVE Bosh as a max player, but he'll do I guess. The window is open now. We can't pass on improvements this offseason, in part because the future is never guaranteed and in part because salary cap space is going to disappear quickly after this offseason. If Bosh is the best we can do, then so be it.
If we can get him, we should get him. You take The chance but I do have some concern About someone who did score 0 points in An NBA finals game and he is supposed to be Part of a big three. I know all the good excuses For it happening but it does make you Second guess a bit.
So if we overpay for Bosh, say somewhere near the max then pay Parsons which puts us well in to luxury tax land, correct. Are we going to be able to get anyone like an Ariza to be backup 2/3. Also need another point guard. Part of me wishes we would have gone hard after Lowrey (think we told him to wait till after Melo signed and he probably didn't like that), then add a backup big like Hawes and a wing like Ariza. For some reason, everyone feels you need three max players now, heck in Boshes case, he would only be paid like a max player.
if i'm bosh, i'd go to toronto. it's the hot thing to do right now, go back to your original team. Sources(sources)
Have you seen the Hawks roster? Parsons would definitely be the 2nd best player on that team and Bosh > Millsap.
@WojYahooNBA: Chris Bosh wants to play with LeBron James in Miami, but conversations between his camp and Houston ongoing today, sources tell Yahoo.

Can that be said with certainty? I think LeBron wants him there, LeBron just knows that Wade and Bosh won't be enough to win again. It goes to show how great a coach like Popovich can be, because this problem never presented itself for the SAS.
