    I can totally see Morey asking JVG to take the associate coach job, while privately telling him that he could have the head job at the end of Mchale ' s contract next year.

    Seriously, I would have loved to see Hollins come here. Brown does not excite me at all. I am not sure what the answer is.

    We should keep Kevin McHale at the helm and just tell him to act as our recruiter. Slot coaches at the offensive and defensive coordinator roles and let them plan the strategy.

    For whatever reason McHale is well respected and extremely well liked by players, coaches, GMs, etc. around the league even though he can't coach worth a damn.

    it's real simple...stipulate in brown's contract that any team hires him within 2 yrs has to give the rockets some draft picks...like a 1st rounder.

    If we are getting Mike Brown, could this mean Lebron is a possibility? Selling to Lebron on Mike Brown as one of the coaches plus Parson, Harden, Howard??? Mike Brown could install defense on Harden as well.

    This is too good to be true.

    Not sure why this thread was even bumped. No signs, no reports that Mike Brown is considering even coaching again, let alone the Rockets.

    This is more important than any player we sign. I would love mike brown as our defensive coordinator. And I think Lionel hollins not signing with us was the biggest loss in the offseason

    Sooooooooooo I guess our staff will be McHale, Finch, and JBB. Really wished a defensive minded assistant would have been a higher priority this offseason. Oh well...:rolleyes:
