Why on earth would Miami prefer Carmelo to Bosh?

    That's crazy.

LeBron's meeting with Riley will be to tell him to dump Bosh and sign Melo. Then they truly will be the Heatles, with Bosh as Pete Best and Melo as Ringo.

LeBron Bosh and Wade are still good friends and want to keep it that way. Bosh leaving on his own would be less painful than Bosh being kicked out. Plus, no one is sure that Melo even wants to play in Miami for less money than if he stays in NY

And the Knicks are paying that to JR Smith, Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher...... Carmelo still wants to go there?

Pretty crappy way to force someone out who is a plus to the team and sacrificed a lot of his game.

Why would they want Melo over Bosh? Bosh is their only big man. Would be really dumb.

Bad math, dude. Read some of BimaThug's work. Best case scenario, we're looking at 20M'ish if we can unload everyone except Harden, Howard and Beverley and keep Parsons cap hold on the books to keep him restricted.

That's what a lot of us are saying. Bosh is not the issue, Wade and his ancient knees are!

They wouldn't...or they might...just guess..because your guesses are every bit as valuable as the guessing you're seeing right now from NBA "reporters."

Rockets "heavily engaged!" Sounds like Houston has massed artillery and rockets, and opened fire on Miami, with tanks maneuvering, jets screaming overhead, Bosh staring around, wide-eyed, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

If Melo ends up in Miami, Gasol to the Heat for a heavy discount?
