I wouldn't say that. Bortles has all the attributes to be a great QB in this league. He is a good pocket passer and has the size and skills to make him a pro bowler. I'm not saying he WILL be great, but he does have the potential.

Blake Bortles also have a lot of flaws that can make him a bust. But if you put him in the right situation, surrounded by the right players, proper coaching and a system that fits him, then he will most likely become a good to great QB.

Blake has plenty of flaws but he also has the size and skills of a great QB. He's no Brady or Manning but more of a system QB. If Jacksonville surrounds him with the right system, then no doubt he will deliver.

St. Louis would have traded out of #1 and Clowney would have been taken off the board.
Seeing that Texans went with Oline with their second (they had to take Clowney), they would have taken Oline with their first or traded back.
Robinson would have been the target if no trade, and Mosley if they traded down.

Most of these guys have flaws. Clowney only had 3 sacks and his head coach questioned his work ethic... Mack played at Timbuktu college... Robinson hardly ever had to pass block. Blake was just as safe as any of them. Especially considering that the media consensus defensive players hardly ever end up being the best defensive players out the draft...

And I think Blake fits a lot of systems. His college offense under O'Leary consisted of different offensive schemes showing his versatility. But a good system can benefit any player at any position.
