Good deal for Toronto. Kind of surprised he couldn't get a bit more elsewhere.

What the hell are the C(Raptors) doing? Staying mediocre?

He is a role player. 6-7 million per year is pretty good.

I guess Lowry stayed with Houston for 5-6 million.

One conference's mediocre is another conference's contender.

What are they doing? They're keeping a solid EC team intact. Ujiri needs to shut his mouth around Playoff time though. There's no reason to give the opposing team extra motivation.

Maybe they'll get Ariza to sign with them. and they'll also bring back Chuckwagon. The Toronto Rockets would be complete by then

That's a shame. I would have loved to use our MLE on Pat Pat. Solid defense at the 4 and can stretch the floor? Sign me up.

This is why you trade PP. Way...way too much. Needs a 50% pay cut.

Good for P. Pat. Congrats, hope they win games up there and give the heat and pacers some tough playoff matchups

The Raptors are within striking distance in the EC. They just need a few things to break their way now.

Assuming Melo doesn't go to Chicaco, Raptors have a good chance to finish #2 in the East. In the doubtful event LeBron leaves Miami, they might finish on top.

They are in a great position actually in terms of flexibility. They want to stay competitive because last year was the first in a long time and got the fans hyped. But they will also soon get players like hayes and fields off the books and will have good chunk of cap space to improve around their young keepers.

    Ok. Thanks for the info.

Lowry should get any help he needs. Man, cannot believe he chose Toronto over Houston.

That's another guy I wanted. Lowry, PP, Sefo, 3 guys we could have signed only using our cap space.

That's how you improve your defense, 3 veterans for the rotation who can play defense.

We'll see what we end doing..
