    So Gasol is going to basically take a vet min to play for the Knicks? He will probably miss half the season with knee problems. They will barely make it in the top 4 in the East if they are lucky.

    you never know what Phil can do. But Howard should be more active to recruit Lebron.

    Yeah. This clearly makes sense.

    Gasol can choose A, which has the best coach in the NBA in Pop, a deep team so he can rest, the best team in the NBA so he can win, and $5mil/yr in a city with no state taxes.

    Or he can choose B, which is a coach who used to just pass him the ball and stand in the corner, a team with no depth so he has to play major minutes, one of the worst teams last year so he's going to suck, and make $3mil in one of the heaviest taxed states in the country.

    But yeah, Phil > Everything.
