Lebron will choose the rockets and get the max through a SnT involving..Harden. This will be followed by Melo signing with the us. Happy times for about 4-5 yrs.

Just my prediction. Not to dampen the mood (or that what I think means anything)...I have always thought that LeBron and Melo opting out in same year was planned just like when the big 3 did it. Riley and Spolestra are in LA right now. So is Melo. As a last resort (only in terms of originally not wanting to sell out wade) I think the Heat get a meeting with Melo and he and LeBron both get their max in Miami. Then they fill out the cap/roster with Gasol, etc.

Parson might not recieve an offer until Melo and Lebron are off the market.

If LeBron still haven't made up his mind close to the 10th, then he's clearly posturing and all teams going after him should just move on. If LeBron's truly interested in joining the Rockets, he would most certainly give Morey the heads up way before the 10th. It's in his interest to do this.

Parsons can wait to sign an offer sheet, July 10th is just the first day he could sign one. I'm sure he would hold off if it meant playing with LeBron.

A max contract for LeBron is more than 20 mil. Heh.

Well, that is definitely possible - but part of the reason why I think it's between Cavs/Heat is because LeBron is an all time great - jumping to a team with 2 stars AGAIN will be bad for his legacy. People will understand if he goes back to the Cavs - but to join a team with the best SG/Center in the league who are BETTER than Bosh/Wade? He'd get crucified by the media.

Question for the cap experts: can Phoenix keep Dragic, Bledsoe, Plumlee and sign both LeBron and Carmelo?

They can't offer both of them the max, but it would come relatively close. Also, they'd need to exceed the cap to re-sign Bledsoe (like we'd need to with Parsons)

Not a cap expert, but they'd have to gut their roster for that to happen - and nobody knows how much Bledsoe will make since he's a RFA.

Hmmm, he changed the title to "multiple teams" now. Original title only listed 3 teams: Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks

They can keep more than that and still give LeBron and Bosh $18-20mil each.

But it's Phoenix. I have to think if Melo is thinking Chicago/LA/NY, Phoenix should rank even lower than Houston on his list of cities to live.

Advantages we have over the competition for Lebron:

Mavericks: Younger talent (longer window). Former teammates (Bev, Harden). Quieter owner.

Cavaliers: MUCH better owner and mgmt. No state income tax. More diverse city. Established coach.

Phoenix: More talent. Better city. No state income tax. More diverse city. Former teammates.

I wonder who the rockets even sent to talk to Lebrons agent? Morey?

Much like the Clippers in 2010, the Phoenix Suns have quickly become the team in the LeBron James sweepstakes that wins even if they lose.

Does he means Suns will at least get Chris Bosh if they miss Lebron, like Clippers got Chris Paul?

I don't believe that Lebron actually wants to max. I think the reports are wrong.
