Overreaction much? Just like when Asik said he wanted a trade right?

All people should look at this again and again to hammers in the fact this is what gonna happen if McFail will stay as coach and let Harden be the coach on floor directing defense assignment of his own.

Rockets fan has lost their mind to think acquiring a no defence 3rd egotistic star would prevent this happen again in the future.

His value actually will go up; he'll still be an expiring contract, and the other team will have less of his contract to deal with.

With Carmelo on the floor, Lilliard would have still hit that 3-pointer.

But the Rockets would've won, 130-99.

Not necessarily. Carmelo (as great as he is) is a ball-stopper.

    Even more-so than Harden.

I watched him on the Knicks probably more than most people on this forum.

The Rockets need a better coach and a great power forward capable of protecting the interior and grabbing rebounds.

    Defense wins playoff games.

I'll just be happy when someone else wears the #7 for the Rockets besides the fraud that currently wears it now.

hmm I thought I these fans of Lin would of been gone by now you know since everyone knows he will be traded so no point of posting and defending Lin anymore he is going to be out the door so why don't his fans get a head start

If Carmelo and Lebron doesn't come to Houston
    Thaddeus Young is an option
Philly needs to trade him for something because he will not resign there.

    Lin + 25 + Dmo

    Luol Deng for 10 million

    S&T Parsons for Rondo

    Rondo/Bev
    Harden
    Deng
    Young
    Howard

I honestly don't think Philly wants to improve at all; I think they want to tank. The Lin deal is about acquiring picks; specifically our NOLA pick; which is one major injury away from gold. Their fans and sports writers also seem to think that the line in the sand should be a 2nd and either Tjones or Capela (they need a quality PF) as sweetner. They don't seem to like DMo much. The joy in Philly seems to be centered around the hope that Melo will somehow force Houston's hand and Morey will have to give more. They want Melo to choose Houston. I know Philly needs to reach the team salary floor but they don't need Lin to do that. If I were a GM, and failed to sign my FA of choice (Morey), or, simply wanted to tank (Hinkie), I'd hold on to my expiring contracts. You never know, it's possible that a legitimate contender could lose its PG/backup/SG/backup to injury, ala the Aaron Brooks to Denver last season, and have interest in Lin, an average but capable offensive player with playoff experience, but, a good defender, to steady the ship and hold on to its playoff seed while their starter heals; or, if the starter doesn't heal, utilize Lin in the playoffs. Either way, Lin's expiring contract should be more attractive then than it is now.

You don't eat Bagels with Philly Cream Cheese? What? Lactose intolerant?

Can you imagine if we got 15 million dollars worth of Cream Cheese back for trading Jeremy Lin?

It's a total win for us!

How many NBA players have gone to twitter to complain about their current team? How many players have hidden behind scripture?

For being a good locker room guy, that is pretty bad.

There is also an old saying, put up or shut up... After the last two years, it is time for Lin to shut up and know his place in the NBA pecking order, which is somewhere between Collison and Canaan.
