This makes more sense to me. If it's a calculated move, what was his purpose? He is getting moved anyway and he is not doing himself a favor by being a whining b****. Burned the bridge with the Rockets, which still controls his destiny at this moment.

I cannot wait at all for this Lin fellow to be kicked to the curb. I want him gone so bad at this point in time and it will be such a great day when all the insanity that trails him like flies to a dung leave with him. This is EXACTLY like the Tebow effect.

Problem is Lowry is gone. I really don't like Rondo on this team not to mention getting him a stretch. If Melo isn't coming, keeping Lin is actually the best option. Man I hope Melo comes and we trade Lin, or this is going to be really bad...

Agree with the bold. But IMO he should have stood up for himself to the people that did it, in private. Not passive aggressively to the public. Unless you're an absolutely hater of the kid, he has zero to prove to the public in regards to his character.

Not just them. Almost all former Rockets player. They all went banana against us and had career days. After all, they think themselves as human being instead of assets ;)

Morey is just a cold businessman. I now understand why Dragic would ask for player's option and chose not to resign...

Btw, this saga would not occur had Morey had the decency to pre-inform Lin ;)

He should, but what if Rockets just told him to fk off when he stood up in private? He rarely post anything negative to the organization, it feels there is something behind this.

very true. One lesson for me is that you cannot be too nice ALL THE TIME, otherwise your silence and professionalism facing disrespect or demotion would be taken for granted.

I'm not so sure. The more I think about it the more I'm convinced the Lin knew exactly what he was doing. There are too many variables right now. Does Lin know of a trade? Was he really informed about the photoshop? Has Morey and the organization been honest with him or have they totally locked him out and are as rude as the media seems to think they are?

Time will tell. If a trade goes down in a few days it will tell us more.

You don't have to agree, but it isn't at all an unreasonable assumption. I personally think it's calculated each and every time.

See my previous post about the variables. Hell Lin COULD have already taken it up with the front office. We just don't know. The Rockets COULD have notified him and Lin's camp could be lying about it. We just don't know. There is a lot to gain from winning media and fan sympathy on both sides of this jerseygate. Again, time will reveal more.

No they wouldn't tell him to **** off. They would tell him, look you are going to be traded. Your opinion doesn't worth anything. It is standard practice and I don't need your permission, and I don't care how you feel.

And Lin would think right, you don't care how I feel, but others might.

Just speculations, too many variables like TheJet said. Only time will tell.

Exactly. Just because he's done this before doesn't mean it wasn't the plan all along. I never thought much of it before, but I'm starting to think otherwise. You can say a lot while saying very little.

Let's not second guess his intention. The real question is how you would do differently if you were in his shoes and perceived being treated unfairly for tow years.

Everything involving Lin is overblown, because he has so overzealous and reactionary fans. Nice guy, but overpaid, and I'll be glad when he's another team's distraction.

I think Melo more than most knows how things can get when Lin is involved. He had a front row seat when it all started and no doubt felt the backlash from Lins obsessors when he made comments in the past. He knows exactly what the Rockets have and are currently going through.

Who knows maybe the shared experience works in our favor, lol.

I can't believe we're STILL talking about this. I'm embarrassed for Lin that he said anything. Disrespected? Go dry your tears out on your $15 million.
