Not a bad op. At least you see the common thread which is ovious. The blunder wss not such cool thing to do. No where have i made an emotional ad hominen apeal to defend lin or the rockets. I already understood that professional sports is a business. It has nothing to do with perfornance. Once a player signs that contract the team can do anything it wants. Case in point is lin. Regardless wheher lin can play or not, bottom line is that the rockets and les alexnder decides that.
Being publicly displayed on a billboard and being publicly displayed on Twitter/Internet forum are essentially the same thing. It is PUBLIC. And secondly, the argument is Jeremy Lin acting immature. Not what was displayed on a billboard or internet. Seems like you are the one who doesn't understand an argument. Good try though.
It's certain Lin is gone. And the Rockets certainly did use #12 when recruiting Howard. They also used Scola's # when recruiting Bosh I believe and Scola wasn't a bench player.
You may feel turned off by lin's replies. But he is human and i guesd it would hurt to not be considered or respected at all by the organization. However i think everybody is learning that business doesnt deal with emotions but what is best for the people who manage the association. Bottom line
Not according to that picture. Of the giant howard ovrrlay at the arena. If you can suggest otherwise be my guest.
He may be human but that's no excuse to stop acting like a professional. He hated T-Mac after he basically Killed his trade value by announcing he was getting surgery and TBH that is pretty close to what Lin just did. Lin could cost us even more to unload now.
Well i do not see your proof. For the most part i havent defenrded anyone. I am neutral and try to see for what it is. It seems though that your angst is showing with seeing that someone might see things fdifferently than you. That is merely a difference of perspectives and is what it is.u
Not only could he cost us more to unload, he has also ruined his own value. Teams don't want drama queens. They will deal with them if they are a Super Star but a ROLE PLAYER needs to keep his mouth closed and do his job.
Look at the pics here http://rockets.clutchfans.net/7203/jeremy-lin-carmelo-anthony-jersey-controversy/
I think he did the best he could . regardless of what lin does he is a goner. That is the way the cookie will crumble. Lin value i dont think deteriotated, maybe it has after thumping the bible again. Who knows. Only the future will see.
I am not angry at all. I posted proof right here in response to another post today in which you happen to ignore. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9062900&postcount=626 So from what I take of your posts, your argument is there was never a Billboard of a player wearing another players number, correct? My argument is; whether or not it is a billboard, twitter or the internet, it is all public for people to see. They way it is publicly displayed is irrelevant.
Interesting if true. There is a difference of the two situations. One was public the other was private( not now) the situation could have been handled a bit diffently. It could have been more private i think
F' in Lin's delusional groupies and rabid fans. Can't wait for them to leave this forum once and for all. The sooner the better
Does anyone think Lowry decided to sign with Toronto after hearing what happened to Lin. Lowry was the guy who was cast out of Houston and treated like an asset. Then Morey/McHale had to come up together to meet with him, in order to convince him that if he signs in Houston he will be there for the long haul and not traded away like an asset. Then he sees what happened to Lin and he questions Morey's honesty, so he decided to come to an organization where they treat their players like family.
