    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/MiamixHeatles">@MiamixHeatles</a> I reported Bosh's interest in 5 for 90 last night; that would be a starting salary of 15. And Heat are countering to lower.</p>&mdash; Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) <a href="https://twitter.com/EthanJSkolnick/statuses/484470909818785792">July 2, 2014</a></blockquote>

This has some huge, huge implications.

I wouldn't pay Bosh the max. He has regressed more and more every year. This should be interesting.

Weird this gets posted the moment I start watching Godzilla.

Bosh is saying....I'm no Velociraptor or GOTs Dragon...I'm Godzilla. Pay me

15 is very fair, Bosh doing them a solid. Them lowballing is crazy disrespectful of the front office if report is true.

The only problem is LeBron wants his true value now. Max.
Bosh takes a paycut, but its negated by LeBron's pay raise.

Its in Wade's hands now how this plays out.

When a guy can get you 16 pts and almost 7 boards while never imposing his will on important games, there's no price tag too high.

What is Lebrons true max with the heat?

    Lebron for 21
    Bosh for 14
    Wade for 14

    All starting year salaries^

Add Napier, roster cap holds and they still have enough room to sign a 7-9 mill player.

Daryl needs to get in touch with Bosh ASAP with an iPad. He is better than Melo.

I think LeBron's max is set at 22m. I don't see either Wade or Bosh taking anything less than 15 especially if LeBron is getting max money. That's already 52m tied up.

Miami still has Miller's contract for 6.6m and Cole for a little more than 2m. Add Napier who should be around 1m and that's an additional 9m. If the cap is set at the expected 63m, the Heat would only have 2 million in cap room.

I was wonder why Bosh was willing to take so little. I would definitely pay him the max.

    Definitely agree with that.
Power Forward is a position where we can make a significant upgrade.
We do not improve as much with Carmelo Anthony over Chandler Parsons.
In comparison to Anthony, Bosh gives you better rebounding and defense, and our already potent offense would still improve.

My dream is a combination of Kevin Love or Paul Milsap at Power forward and Kyle Lowry at point.

The next runner up would be Chris Bosh.
I would be willing to give Bosh 4 years at 15 million.

didnt make sense to me to begin with. thought bosh was smarter than that, so accepting Gortat money is just straight moronic. Especially after seeing what Hayward just got paid.

    Bosh gone!

This could get interesting but I doubt it. All 3 will return to Miami. But will Riles have enough money left to build a championship contender around them?

The big problem for them is Wade. They must take care of him to the tune of 4 yrs ~$55 million.

IMO, maxing out LeBron and starting Bosh off at $15 million doesn't leave enough for them to pass the Spurs, Thunder or Clippers.

Any team that throws away massive amount of $$ and salary cap space on Bosh is dooming itself.

Melo would play PF in Houston just as he has done for the last two years in NY.

That being said bring on Bosh and yes you give him the max. Supposedly he is an excellent defender especially on the pick and roll and is probably a better fit than Melo.

Terrence Jones averaged more rebounds than Bosh last year. He is nowhere near a max player anymore.
