LOL Seriously??? This is how you think? Says a lot about your values. Even if the guy was a janitor and are easily replaceable, every person deserves respect.

The security guard escort is so laid off employees don't cause trouble since it can be an emotional time and they may be distraught and do things they will regret later. It's not at all about parading them around to humiliate them.

I get that this story has been a little over blown today but if you think this situation is comparable to Beverley/Dwight's #12 you are an idiot.

Its not like the number we are talking about is a sacred number like 34.

God said that 34 is way more important

I hope he will move Lin for sure. It otherwise will be awkward.

Since that's what you firmly and blindly believe in, I'm not going to bother discussing this ultimately worthless topic. Personally, I don't think this is an issue at all and I believe you will be hard pressed to find a team that does NOT do things like this when pursuing players that are important. Like DM said, this is STANDARD PRACTICE in the NBA. The only reason that this is what it is is due to Lin's ethnicity. It's basically the Tebow effect.

The funny part is if the Rockets cannot sign anyone, Lin might stay on the team to keep them over the salary cap.

How awkward will that be? Worse than Martin and Scola.

Interesting you left out the first quote about class and professionalism lol.
Of course it all makes sense.

There's no situation, it's just a jersey number to one of our Scrubs.

According to DM, it is comparable to Beverley/Dwight's #12. So what, ppls still applause him if he can get Melo here. But what if he fails to do so, the overall reaction would be entertaining...

And that's where you and I differ. I DON'T consider this disrespect. It just happened that Melo wears the same number as Lin. Again... this is STANDARD PRACTICE. This is nothing personal, just a business move.

LOL. Do you live in the world of Disney? Winners win, loser ... who gives a **** about them. They're irrelevant. Lin is a b****, and he'll continue to get railroaded because he's got the mentality of one. I suggest some of you LOFs get a ****ing clue and hop off his jock.

Why are you here? Go embarrass yourself on the Sixers board.

Houston Rockets is a professional basketball team, not Sunday school. They are in the business of winning, not coddling irrelevant players.

Except the pictures a few page showed that they were sensitive enough to use a ball to hide the number when DH was visiting. Double standard is not a good sign.

Who gives a ****? He's irrelevant. Try to get a ****ing clue. Lin is irrelevant NBA teams that want to win. The god damn 76ers want him, so they can tank. Can you register that? Lin is nothing in this league.

Off course it is not a good sign. DM might have done this intentionally for apparent reasons.

I agree it was overblown. But from Lin's perspective, it's all accumulative understandably. Lock the thread, plz.
