    ESPN/media are going to stir up this Lin jersey disrespect thing.

    What is funny, is that just gives Houston more press about Carmelo and gets people talking (instead of talking Carmelo/Dallas, Carmelo/Bulls).

    You could make a case Houston knew exactly what it was doing stirring the media like that.

    The pitch last year to Dwight was solid because their point the whole time was -

    "If you are making the decision based on winning first and foremost, Houston is obviously the best spot for you".

    And apparently they had every stat, and hard data to build their case that it was a no-brainer decision.

    This year with Melo, I wonder (with Chicago's pitch in mind) if they were able to create a compelling presentation as such that really put the ownership of the decision back on Melo to make that decision based on winning, or if they felt like they had to deviate from that pitch at all... especially with so many more roster unknowns this year as opposed to last year.
